FB4D by Flying Publisher has 365 free access (no need to paylah!!, no registration required) medical titles. These titles cover the whole (or almost) field of medicine. Book format is either in PDF or HTML and as current as 2009. Please read the fine print at the bottom of the description for each title as not all are in English.

FB4D also provides free access to 60 online full-text medical journals. However, some articles are only accessible after a specified period (1-12 months) after publication depending on the conditions imposed by the publishers. Abstracts are provided for all. You could also subscribe to podcasts. Address is at: http://freebooks4doctors.com/

Hope you find it useful! Happy reading (Sorrylah, English broken sikit!!) Librarian

The Social Science Open Access Repository (SSOAR) is a database specialising in scholarly articles from the social sciences which is freely accessible on the Internet. SSOAR is a full-text server, and Internet users can access full-text versions of documents free of charge and without prior registration. The repository follows the so-called “Green Road”, a strategy for the implementation of Open Access whereby preprints or postprints of scholarly contributions are archived in an openly-accessible repository in addition to being published in toll-access journals etc. Could someone have a go at it and report back your findings. Thank you.
